1 day (late)...

Diana NEVER thought that she would be late. And here we are, one day after the due date and not feeling like he is ready to come at all. What's wrong Camden? Everybody is waiting for you...

10 months...

Whoever said pregnancy lasted 9 months was an idiot. (I was an idiot for believing it!)

Today, Diana turned 40 weeks pregnant! We have sure gone through a lot (Diana through the brunt of it) and our lives have changed. We are ready for our lives to change a whole bunch more and to be parents for the very first time.

Now, when is Camden going to decide to join us? If he takes after me, he will come on time (today) or if he takes after Diana, he will be late. It's not looking too good for me...

Update...

Well, tomorrow is the day. Diana's due date. We have spent a loooooong 40 weeks in this wonderful process and are ready to start the next chapter in this great book. Come on Camden, don't make your parents wait any longer!

Diana went to her last official doctor's appointment today! Everything went great. The doctor let us know that she doesn't think it will be more than 5 days. Diana even had some contractions today and her lower back is hurting.

Any day now!

Sorry Melani, doesn't look like you are going to win this one! Dad, keep your fingers crossed.

And for those of you who guessed that he would be under 8 lbs, lets just hope the midwife wasn't right when she guessed he was 8 lbs a week ago!

Time running out...

Time is running out for Diana. Even if she starts having contractions today, she probably won't have him until tomorrow. Hopefully not because we can't have Melani win!

(When Diana says that she is starting to feel some pains, it is important to know that she has had these pains for the last couple days. They are not contractions, just a lot of pressure.)

UPDATED (1/10 11:30 am) The time is getting near and the countdown is officially underway with the bets. We had one last person make a wager and we are up to 15 people who are crossing their fingers for the right day. Diana made the guess that Camden will come today. (Melani tomorrow) Diana sure hopes he comes today to win the money but I think she might have other reasons as well. :)

Diana went to her weekly visit to the doctor today and heard some interesting information. The midwife said that Camden is extremely low and said she wouldn't be surprised if he comes within the next week. She also said that she thinks that he is a good 8 lbs already!

We are getting a little nervous! :)
